Performing TFM
These are general instructions for modifying a Takeoff file. Takeoff File Maintenance icons and functions are described in TFM Icons and TFM Functions.
The sections below explain how to add, edit, and delete an item or items. Any examples given are when only a single Section is displayed. All of the procedures can be performed when more than one Section is displayed.
When you close a Section after making changes (select File > Close), the program prompts Save Changes to Estimate #nn, Section #nn? Answer YES to save the changes; NO if you decide to leave the Section unchanged.
If Auto Save is enabled, the Section
is automatically saved (including changes) and you are not prompted to
save changes. Auto Save is set in File
> Options > Auto Save. See Takeoff
