Adding an Item

The Add Takeoff Item command from the Edit pull-down menu lets you add an item to the takeoff Section. When you select Edit > Addor click   the Item Number window displays.

Use  to the right of Category and Key to display the Categories and Keys. Use  and  to scroll through the Categories and Keys to find the appropriate ones. Select each by clicking once with the primary mouse button on the appropriate description. Select a Category first, then a Key, then the Item.

Once you select the Item, the Item number and picture (if available) are displayed.

To add the item, select OK. If you decide not to add the item, select Cancel. Added items are always placed at the end of the file.
