The information that is contained in the Summary report is completely under your control. Whatever columns you choose to have displayed in the SFM window are what will be included on the printed report. Whatever order they are shown on the screen is the order in which they will print. Your report can contain as little or as much information as you require. You can also control how many of the items are printed: the entire Summary file, just a level, a level with all of its sub-levels, or just selected items.
Select the Report Name.
Use the checkbox to print only the selected items.
In the Use View field, select the view that you want to have printed for the report.
Use the checkboxes for the print options you want for the report:
Fit to Page Width
Scale Fonts
Print Grid Lines
Print Black and White Report. When selected, both previewed and printed reports will be shown/printed without color or shading to improve clarity for faxing or other transmission.
Print Report Priorities
Print Material and Labor Sources. when checked, the Print Material/Labor Sources will print in he Summary header.
If you only want a report showing item number, size, description, and quantity, then only set-up those columns on the screen, print, and that's the report you will get. In fact, this format is used in the Summary File Printing Example.
