Accessing Takeoff Options

This topic covers Takeoff Options generically, that is, for both Data and Estimates. The Takeoff Options for Data and Estimates are accessed similarly.

To access Takeoff Options select Data > Data File Maintenance > Takeoff Options from the main Estimating window.

You can open the Takeoff Options for individual estimates by going to Estimates > Estimate File Maintenance >Takeoff Options.

Takeoff Options can also be accessed through the File menu in many other Trimble Estimation windows.

The Data Set Takeoff Options are your master Takeoff Options. These should be set-up as your standard Takeoff Options.

The Estimate Takeoff Options are copied from the data files when you create the Estimate. They can then be modified to reflect the requirements of that Estimate.
