Levels

The Levels file allows you to create up to 6 separate files to be used in Takeoff as a way to break down portions of the takeoff. You take off items within a level (e.g., installation codes, standard systems, drawings, floors, wings). Summary can also be run with level breakdowns.

By default, the first level in the file is installation codes. You can set-up the remaining five levels any way you want, including, importing Section descriptions. The installation codes and sections can both be modified to suit your needs. Each Level file can contain up to 499 records.

In this database file, level types have no structure. It is not until Summary that you can choose the hierarchy for the levels.

Levels do not affect Takeoff or Summary, but you can filter items in Takeoff by level and summarize items by level.
