The Edit Image window allows you to modify or "clean up" a shape you wish to use for Shape Recognition.
The Edit Image window includes several tools:
(1) Draw/Erase: This tool allows you to draw and erase lines on your shape. Drawing lines are used to close up gaps in a shape caused by poor source image quality. Erasing unneeded lines will help Shape Recognition better identify the shape in your Count Worksheet. To draw click and hold the left-mouse button. To Erase, click and hold the right-mouse button. The size of the Draw/Erase "brush" can be control using the controls on the left of the window (5).
(2) Undo: This tool will let you undo the last edit you made to the shape.
(3) Save & Edit: This tool will save the changes to your shape and take you back to Search Parameters.
(4) Zoom Tools: These tools let you Zoom in or out of your Image, helping you draw/remove lines more precisely. You can zoom either by using the magnifying glasses or by choosing a zoom level from the drop-down menu.
(5) Brush Size: This tool lets you set the size of your cursor (or "brush") that you use with the Drawing/Erasing tool (1).
When you are finished cleaning up your shape, click Save & Edit to return to Search Parameters.
