Editing Manufacturers

If you have performed an import from Merlin (using File > Import in the Materials Management plug-in), only the Short Name, Name, and DCI fields will contain data. You will want to edit the manufacturers so that more complete information is provided (e.g., locations, addresses, contact names, etc.).

There are a number of ways to go about editing a Manufacturer:

·     Select .

·     SelectEdit > Edit.

·     Double-click with the primary mouse button on the selected line.

·     In the grid, click once with the secondary mouse button to display an editing menu. SelectEdit Manufacturer.

The program will then access the selected record. 

You can make changes to any of the fields. For information about these fields, see Adding Manufacturers.

PS-OK2.BMP  When you are finished modifying the record, select OK. The changes you made are saved and the Manufacturers grid returns to view.

PS-CANC1.BMP  Returns to the Manufacturers grid without saving any changes you may have made.
