The Databook contains all of the manufacturer and item file information. When you edit an item in the Databook, all of the pricing information is also there, together with its size, pricing code, etc.
The Databook is accessed by selecting File > Maintenance > Material & Service Mgmt > Databook Items.
The Databook is comprised of several sidebar functions.
ITEMS: The Items sidebar function accesses the Items file which includes all items in the Estimation database. See Items for more information.
FAVORITES: As you work with the Items, you may find that you use certain items more often than others. You can mark these items as Favorites in the Items file, then, when you access Favorites only those items are available. This is the way to narrow down your Items file.
