You are here: Takeoff > Takeoff Functions

Takeoff Functions

The Takeoff Toolbar buttons correspond to the same items in the pull-down menus and provide shortcuts in performing functions. These functions are used in Takeoff File Maintenance.

To make selections, you may either use the pull-down menus or the Toolbar buttons.  This example shows the Takeoff File pull-down menu with Next Section highlighted. To make a selection from a pull-down menu highlight the option (using either a mouse or the PowerPad's arrow keys) and click with the mouse primary button or press Enter on the PowerPad.

Note: If the Esti-Sketch plug-in is installed on your system, an additional pull-down menu is available, Sketch. See the Esti-Sketch Program Manual for information about that program.

Figure 1 shows the Toolbar for Estimating Series Takeoff, with buttons labeled below. To select a Toolbar option, simply click on it using the primary mouse button.
