This option allows you to import a Category from the current data set or from another Electrical data set. This imports the entire Category, including all Headers and Items.
When you select 
the Select
Data Set to Import From window displays. The default data
set is the current data set, but you can also select another data
set.
Select both the data set and the Category you want to import into the new Category by highlighting them using a single-click of the primary mouse button. Select OK (if you select Cancel, the Category is not added and the Categories page returns).
Note: If the Category you select contains too many items than can be accommodated, an error similar to this displays: The category that you selected has 810 items, but you only have 102 open entries available! Remember that the Add New Category window told you how many entries were available (the Available number). The Electrical program is limited to 60,000 items per data set. Select OK. The import is aborted and the Category is not added. The program returns to the Categories page.
A window box displays where you can choose the slot number where the imported Category will be placed. Select OK.
The program creates the new Category and imports all of the Headers and Items from the data set/Category you selected in step 2. The Category description you entered in the “Enter Category Description” window is overwritten by the imported Category's description.
