The Databook contains all of the Item file information in one place: Categories, Headers, and Items. When you edit an item in the Databook, all of the pricing information is also there, together with its size, pricing code, subtotals, etc.
The Databook is versatile in that it allows you to add, delete, and move Categories; add, delete, and import (from other Categories and/or Data Sets) Headers; and add, delete, and edit Items.
Note: On a network, while one computer operator is using the Databook, no other operators can access Data Files.
The Item file has a capacity of 60,000 items. These are divided among a maximum of 60 categories. Each category may include up to 1,000 items.
