This function reviews the entire data set to determine how many items have pricing codes.
When you select Analyze the "Electrical Estimating” window appears.

Selected Categories: The default is to analyze all Categories. If you want to analyze all Categories, leave this unmarked. If there are only certain Categories you want to analyze, mark the Selected Categories option. The window box expands to show the Categories. Select the Categories you want to analyze using selection techniques described in the Estimating Help.

Print Report: Prints a report of the analysis (to Estimating Print Preview).
Updates Since: You can enter a date for the program to look for the number of items updated with material prices since that date. The default is the current month and year, but you can type in any month, day, and year or use to display a calendar from which you can make a choice. The printed report will include a line "Number of items updated on or after mm/dd/yy".
PRINT REPORT: Prints a report of the analysis (to Estimating Print Preview) instead of showing the report on the screen.
Analysis is not performed. Program returns to Databook, Categories view.
The program performs the analysis on the data set. This may take a few moments, depending on how many Categories are involved (it takes longer to analyze all Categories than it does for just selected Categories). When finished, the results are displayed. Select Exit to return to Databook, Categories view.
