Takeoff Notes

The Notes key cell is located in the upper left of the Takeoff Menu, between Scale and Mult. Notes can also be accessed by selecting Edit > Insert Takeoff Note or . A click with the secondary mouse button in the Maintenance view displays an Edit menu from which Insert Takeoff Note can also be selected.

Takeoff Notes allows you to enter any kind of note regarding the current takeoff, whether it be about an item, an assembly, or about the Section in general. The Cut, Copy, and Paste editing functions (or drag and drop) can be used to move notes throughout the Takeoff file.
