Accessing Assemblies
NOTE – In Takeoff, the Estimate Assembly is selected in Takeoff Options (in Menu, select Estimate Assembly).
When you select Estimate > Estimate File Maintenance > Assemblies or Data > Data File Maintenance > Assemblies the program loads the Assembly file and displays estimate Assembly File Maintenance. This may take a few moments.
To access the Assemblies through the Data/Estimate Open window, select the 
and a drop-down window will appear. You can scroll up and down with the 
and 
buttons and select Assemblies.
There are also several ways to select Assemblies from a Data/Estimate Maintenance window:

Select File > Open and then Assemblies from the Open window drop-down menu.

Select File > Open (the second “Open” option in File), and Assemblies.

Select
on the tool bar (next to the Open Folder button in the tool bar) to open a drop-down menu, and select Assemblies.
Once you have selected Assemblies, you can select if you want to open the Data Set or Estimate by clicking the appropriate radio button.
When you have selected Data Set or Estimate, click OK.
