Windows (DFM)

CASCADE: If more than one application is open, when Cascade is select, the applications will overlap diagonally down and to the right from the last, creating a cascading effect.

TILE HORIZONTALLY: If more than one application is open, when Tile Horizontally is selected, the application opened most recently will appear above the other application(s). The windows will adjust so that all applications share equal space.

TILE VERTICALLY: If more than one application is open, when Tile Vertically is selected, the application opened most recently will appear to the left of the other application(s). The windows will adjust so that all applications share equal space.

ARRANGE ICONS: When an application is minimized within Data File Maintenance, a small title bar appears in the bottom left corner of the Data File Maintenance. This represents whatever has been minimized. If the minimized title bar is moved, you can select Arrange Icons to arrange the title bar(s) back to the original position in the bottom left corner.

AUTO TILE: When Auto Tile is on, the applications will revert to whatever selection you have made for the tiling. For example, if Tile Horizontally is selected, Auto Tile will always make sure the applications are stacked on top on each other.

After Auto Tile, there is one final selection that varies depending on the application that is open. If more than one application is open (for example, Databook and Subtotals), you can select from the Windows menu which application that you want to be active.

You can also select the active application by left-clicking with the mouse anywhere in the application. Therefore, if Databook and Subtotals are both open, but Databook is active (the Databook title bar will be blue), but you want Subtotals to become active, simply left-click anywhere in Subtotals (and the Subtotals title bar will turn from gray to blue).
