Single Line Takeoff (SLT)

This Takeoff tool allows you to perform SLT with Digital Takeoff. To perform SLT, first set your SLT options as usual in Standard Takeoff. Next, switch to Digital Takeoff and choose the SLT tool. Draw your SLT lines as you would with the Segmented Line tool. When done, select the Finish option. Switch back to Standard Takeoff and takeoff your items.

Digital Takeoff will display your SLT annotations with a unique line style/color, for example:

In addition, joints associated with SLT are displayed by unique symbolism, such as the red number 90 or 45, depending on the angle of the joint. Invalid SLT joint angles are also marked, like by a black circle:

The Line/Symbol options for SLT can be set in Preferences.

Any Drop Length values are ignored for SLT. In addition, the scale set in Digital Takeoff will override any preset SLT scales in Standard Takeoff.

Deleting the Standard Takeoff item will also delete its corresponding Digital Takeoff annotation, provided that Digital Takeoff is connected.
