Update Assembly Factors

In Takeoff, Update Assembly Factors allows you to re-set any overridden factors that were manually changed on the assembly sub-items. The factors will be reset to what the header item was at takeoff. From the main Takeoff screen, select Edit from the toolbar, then scroll down to and select Update Assembly Factors.

To edit an item's factor fields:

1. Highlight an item in the list.
2. Select the Factor Maintenance tab along the bottom of the screen. This will allow you to edit the Material Factor, Field Factor and Shipping Factor fields in the grid.
3. Highlight any factor values that need to be edited and make the edits. The changes will be saved upon exiting the screen.

To revert to the original factor field values:

1. From the Takeoff items list, highlight the parent assembly you want to revert back to the original values.
2. Select Edit from the toolbar.
3. Scroll to the Update Assembly Factors option and press Enter.

This will revert the factor values on all of the assembly items to the current factors on the parent assembly.
