Free Hand Trace

The Free Hand Trace tool allows you to draw any annotation shape you want. To use the tool, click and hold down the left mouse button. Next drag the cursor to draw your line. When finished, release the left mouse button and use one of the Finish options. As with the other Line tools, the thickness and consistency of the line can be adjusted using the Takeoff Tools panel in Digital Takeoff.

If you have not specified a Drop Length on the toolbar, you will be prompted to enter the value.
You can use Drop & Continue from the right click menu to add the drop and two elbows and continue with your measured line.

Deleting the Standard Takeoff item will also delete its corresponding Digital Takeoff annotation, provided that Digital Takeoff is connected.
