Bid Summary Functions

Throughout the Bid Summary screens (Components or Subtotals), the menu bar remains the same. The pull-down menus may be different in each screen, however. It is noted when a selection only appears for certain screens.

Figure 1 shows the toolbar for Estimating Series Bid Summary, with buttons labeled below. To select a toolbar option, simply click on it using the primary mouse button.

Some of the Menu and Toolbar functions found in the Bid Summary displays are standard throughout file maintenance parts of the Estimating Series programs. The Estimating Help contains explanations of these common functions in its File Maintenance topic.

Most of these functions are also available when you access the Bid Templates for an Estimate or Data Set.

Copy/Paste in Bid Summary do not function the same as in the rest of Windows. The information is not stored permanently on the clipboard once it is copied. Instead, the information is immediately removed once the information is copied.
