Assemblies

An assembly is a group of items that are taken off together. They can be used for hanger combinations or any other group of items that you frequently take off at the same time.

An Estimate’s Assembly file consists of one Estimate menu. Up to 60 Assemblies can be defined for a Estimate menu. Each Assembly or "Key" can include 50 lines and each line will contain either an item to be taken off or a prompt that will display during Takeoff. You can set-up the Key to prompt for each item's quantity, to calculate item quantities automatically using formulas, or to use the quantity entered in Takeoff. Each item can be specified as Single or Repeating (so you can make a prompt appear over and over) and each item can have a multiplier associated with it.
