Users can setup their Cost Breakouts in Estimating by either going to Data > Data File Maintenance > Levels, or Estimate > Estimate File Maintenance > Levels.
It is important to note that changes made through Data > Data File Maintenance > Levels are not applied to any existing Estimates, but are instead used as the new default settings for new Estimates when they are created.
Changes made using Estimate > Estimate File Maintenance > Levels are applied immediately to the specific Estimate being modified.
Note: The Management Suite does not require users to setup their Cost Breakouts in Estimating. However, if you do not setup your breakouts in Estimating, you will have to do so in Management Suite once the XML file has been loaded.
