The “Seal Joints and Seams” window determine if joint sealant and/or seam sealant is applied when a particular pressure table is used. The window contains two major settings: Seal Joints and Seal Seams. By default, both of these options are checked. When either Seal Joints or Seal Seams are unchecked, the corresponding checkboxes for each of the pressure levels become inactive. Thus, un-checking the two boxes will prevent further changes to the checkboxes in the respective columns.
The boxes under the “Seal Joints” and “Seal Seams columns” allow you to check or un-check individual items. Each individual item is under a group heading. For example, the 10” W.G. Galvanized Rectangular pressure table is under the “Rectangular Pressure Tables” group. If you wish to enable/disable a certain group of Joints or Seams, un-check the box by the group header. To easily see the group headers, click to collapse the tree and show only the header for the group.
