Estimates lets you add new estimates and change the files containing the information to be used for a specific estimate. Estimate files are based on the master Data Files that come with the program. When you create an estimate, the master data files are copied to the estimate. Whereas data files are considered your standard files, estimate files are considered unique to a particular estimate and can be modified to be so. Using Estimate Files selections, you can access and change Estimate Assemblies, Bid Templates, Levels, Phases, Specials, and Subtotals. The Takeoff Options and Summary Options selections let you choose Takeoff and Summary settings for an estimate.
