This selection lets you enter a factor which will be multiplied by all material units taken off. The Mat Factor field can contain a number up to 99.99.
The AUTO checkbox to the right of the Mat Factor field indicates Auto-Default. If marked, your entry here will be the default in Takeoff (if you change the Material Factor in Takeoff, the Material Factor will return to this default after the next Takeoff entry). When Auto-Default is on, the Mat Factor is red in the Options display in Takeoff. If AUTO is unmarked, the Mat Factor will remain at its setting in Takeoff until you change it.
